Siren

One fateful night, and like the glass you went through shattered my hopes and dreams went with it too

The ambulance arrived and the minions charged their paddles

I saw you bargain with the Gods, crying tears that dripped to your body below

I stood by while you slept, only the monitors to tell me you were just dreaming

Maybe you never forgave me, not a scar on my face, not a dismembered limb

But I missed you, the parts that went missing. Maybe it’s deal you made with God

And now, you are healed, scars have contracted, and you walk prouder than you have before

Reborn, you know you are you and yet to me, I still don’t see you

The last thing I remember is when you smiled and that loud noise took you away. Maybe that’s the last you remember of me too
