Left to Right a Wrong

Wind blows past, and leaves hurry to follow

My weight behind lumbers, and the path ahead unclear

A slip from my fingers, your eyes long to stay

But I hold your worries and smile, knowing your future is well

Let me keep them, the weight of your fears, let my toes dig into the dirt

Should all matter abandon me to the void, let me be the last one left

I’ll be grateful, knowing you are free and fearless, dancing on water and playing with sunrays
